  • Provide audio/video meetings, screen sharing, chat, reactions, recordings, and notifications.
  • Protect users, prevent abuse, enforce community rules, and resolve incidents.
  • Respond to support, access, correction, and deletion requests.
  • Maintain and improve service stability.
  • Meet applicable legal obligations and protect the rights of Women of God and its users.

4. Sensitive permissions and user control

Microphone

Requested so you can speak in a meeting. It remains off until you grant permission or activate it, and the stream is sent to other room participants.

Camera

Requested so you can appear on video. You may keep it off and revoke permission in Android settings.

Screen sharing

Android shows a system confirmation before sharing. Anything visible on your screen may be transmitted to participants while sharing is active.

Notifications

Used for meetings, invitations, messages, or important events. They may be disabled in the app or device settings.

Recording

Meetings are not recorded by default. When recording begins, participants should receive a visible or audible notice. Organizers are responsible for obtaining legally required consent.

5. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may use providers acting on our behalf for hosting, databases, backups, real-time communications such as WebRTC/LiveKit when enabled, mobile notifications such as Firebase Cloud Messaging when enabled, authorized email/SMS/telephone alerts, technical support, fraud prevention, and error diagnosis. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to protect a person, investigate abuse, or enforce our terms. Other participants can see information you choose to share in a room.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards such as HTTPS/TLS in transit, administrative access controls, hashed password storage, least-privilege access, security logging, and protected backups. No system can be guaranteed risk-free.

7. Retention and deletion

  • Account: retained while active and deleted after a verified request.
  • Live audio/video: not stored by default; processed during the meeting. A deliberate recording is separate data.
  • Messages and meeting content: retained as needed for service operation and deleted or anonymized with account deletion, subject to safety and legal exceptions.
  • Recordings: retained until deleted by an authorized administrator or under the period announced by the organizer.
  • Security logs: generally retained for up to twelve months.
  • Backups: residual copies may remain for up to ninety days.

We aim to complete a verified deletion request within 30 days. Limited records may be retained longer for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.

10. Processing in different countries

Technical providers may process information in the user’s country or elsewhere. Where required, we use appropriate contractual and security safeguards.

11. Changes

We may update this policy when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date will be revised and important changes may be announced.
